Listen to the Trees

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. On my daily walk yesterday, I spotted this cluster of five pink cherry branches low on the tree’s trunk, as if saying, “I will live; I will grow.” Just another sign that “Life will find a way.” I love these little nuances of nature, showing us to we are meant to keep going.

And so a poem.

Life wants to grow,
to explore,
to sprout
anew;
So says cherry trunk’s
stray branch
where pink
blooms grew.
