Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. On our daily walk, we pause here, noticing each new addition: a rock, a mushroom, an iron decoration, a new flower, a bird, a turtle, a rabbit. This garden blooms and grows in waves of different flowers and leaves of all shapes and sizes and colors according to each plant’s rhythm of life. It’s simply beautiful, and perfection.
We do not have green thumbs; our garden is a natural mess.
And so, a poem.

Garden Perfection
Green with spots of color
Sheri Edwards
Color in varied shapes
A small round yellow here
A pointed petal of orange there
A fluffy bit of blue standing tall
A tiny five-petaled blue peeking through
Our neighbor’s garden is
Perfection.
