Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. This plant, a shrub or small tree, just fascinates me. I know not what it is, but its many shades of green makes me thankful for the verdant earth on which we live.
Look at the colors from this picture:
I am thankful every day for the greenery that gives us so much— from the air we breathe, the shade from the sun’s heat, and the nutrients in the edible. We may look like a blue marble from space, but here, close up, earth is a green garden. It needs our care. See The United Nations Sustainability: Life on Land.

On this blue marble

Close in to life
To living
To growth
To the verdant garden
Earth is
And give thanks
