Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. On our walk along Columbia Avenue, I found a magical spot, or it seems it should be. Toadstools and a dandelion mingle in the grass, and I’m sure there was a fairy dancing there to warm me about the toadstools. Do you see her? Or, a poem…

Poetry

Wings Aglow

Was that a lulling melody
as I walked upon the path?
And on a ways I thought I saw,
there in the greenest grass,
a fluorescent glimmer
shimmering yellow-
A fairy’s wing aglow!
Ah,
but no;
there among the toadstools,
just one dandelion grows.
