Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. On a return trip home from North Dakota, we stopped in Livingston, MT for lunch, taking a walk through downtown and the railroad station. It’s a great place to stop: it’s clean and friendly. Although we did not stop here at the bar, I loved its lines and colors so much I had to take a picture. Its colors and entryway, its cleanliness outside is inviting. We stopped a bit down the block for a home-cooked and delicious meal where we also bought the cookbook by the owner, New Frontier Cooking by Carole Sullivan. I just took it off the shelf to find something to make: a great caesar salad recipe, for one.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was sold and the restaurant is no longer there, althought the IG is still viewable. The owners are now part of Farm To School nonprofit that seems to be an educational component of the school system there: connecting people to the land and its produce. Sounds like a great idea for every school.

Anyway, back to the bar. I can’t find it on the map either anymore. Still, it was a great look.
