Like a Tulip

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Those smiles, from the boys when they were young. A lot of joy, a little impish, a sweet memory. Like that tulip rising out of last autumn’s now decaying leaves, those smiles, that memory is a lift of spirit, a gift to hold.

Poetry

Like a tulip among last fall’s leaves

I remember the day in spring
When that sweet smile of yours would bring
A joy we would always love
A impish grin, a gift from above.
