Every day, a photograph, a poem. Sigh. I know. I should just push her off. But there she is, so sweet, sound asleep in my spot on the couch. Everyday.

And so, a poem.

Knowing My Place

That darn cat
always sleeps in my spot
letting me know
in this home of three,
husband, cat, and me,
I’m in third place.
