Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Two years ago I snapped the above shot– a lovely December 23rd winter day with bright sun on a field filled with fresh snowfall. That is what winter here should look like.
Today, I snapped the photo below in almost the same place. December 23rd, 2023. Notice some snow, but though it is in the 30s, there is no snow covering the fields as should be. Instead it rained for days with one day of snowfall that melted.
Moses Mountain will stay for a thousand years; if only the earth will withstand the changes ahead from climate events too drastic for life. Think about it.

We’re preparing our gifts for the holidays. We’ll laugh and sing and hug and smile, engaged in our family stories and providing a time for new ones.
For this holiday season, I wish you to be with the family or friends that bring you joy.

We’ll look forward to next year. It’s what we all do. And we’ll try to do the things we can for our planet.

of this Earth, changing?
