Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. I’ve written this week about the problem of our very cold, wind chilling weather [Evergreen Cold]. It’s so cold we’ve taught Guthrie to walk/run beside the truck while we stay cozy in the truck. He’s getting used to it and still gets to romp through the snow and sagebrush for a little while. He’s such a winter dog; I’m worried about him this summer. But he is part poodle and retriever, and so is also a water dog. We have plenty of places for him to cool off with a swim.
After our walk yesterday, the sun invited us to take a drive along the Banks Lake to enjoy her painted sky. Isn’t it delightful? And so, a poem…

across the winter sky
painting a hope for a warmer day
