Scott paused in our walk with the dog at this little example of a mini-river system, which he knew I would want to video. Nature provides models for us to understand the bigger picture!
At it always reminds me of little Jordan building his dams in our backyard. Somewhere I have photos of him covered in mud while creating rivers and dams under the swing set with the hose. Grandpa didn’t want me to encourage this as the moved the side yard with a little hill, but I could not stop the experimenting and engineering. Could you?
I do have a photo of one such day of Jordan that also shows his little sense of humor and perspective. I love this photo [copyrighted] from twenty years ago!
