Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. I am so thankful for the lovely deep purple and dark green leaves of the Oregon Grape — a bit of cheer when winter cold is here. They keep the browns and greys of the depressing days of winter from overwhelming the spirit since they sprout up everywhere, showing us the way to spring. They are such a blessing for the spirit. Oregon Grape
Evergreen holly-like
deep dark purple and green leaves,
sparkling with fresh snowflakes
melting in the warmth of their living;
a bright bit of cheer
in the cold times of the year.
