Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. I snapped this photo while on an adventure with our dog, Guthrie. I loved the reflection of the houses and the clouds, and it does seem like it is another world beneath the surface. That’s what I wrote the poem about.
But I had another adventure today. It’s my birthday, and I had a lot of things planned the day. Scott needed to go to Wenatchee to cover the boys’s basketball tournament [our team won– they’re really good this year].
Unfortunately Scott couldn’t leave right away because he started walking the dog at 7:30 am, but after the walk, the dog did not want to go; he would not hope into the truck. It’s like he has a glitch — as a rescued dog, we don’t know his history, and we think something triggers and he does not want to close enough to be captured, and yet he doesn’t run off — he just runs around us.
Scott tried for a couple hours to get him the car, and finally I had to drive down to take his place with the dog since he needed to leave. So my birthday today was an adventure with our huge teddy bear dog. And this is it:
And so, I am exhausted and all my big plans flew out the window. On the other hand, I do have a big cuddly dog to rest with.
Perhaps in that other world, the dog obeys all the time. LOL.

Another World
Do you see another world

peering out from below?
Are there two of each of us?
One hid in reflection’s flow?
