It's better to be a dog jumping on a beach at any time than a woman suppressed and subordinated in MAGA times."

“Make Art, Dammit!” is a slogan of The Daily Create. The Daily Create is a daily prompt to make art– open to anyone and to respond / remix prompt to make your art.

Today’s art prompt is  #DS106 #tdc4434  #clmooc  #dailycreate — to create bumper sticker about a quote:

“It’s better to be a dog in a peaceful time than be a [hu]man in a chaotic period.”

I thought it was a time to share something that bothers me– all the laws being made to control women’s lives.

Women are half the population of the United States, so if you can control an important aspect of their lives [family planning, birth control, health care, divorce], you’ve subordinated them to second class citizens, not free to plan their own lives, but rather under the subjugation of male created laws and men. This is a war on women for male dominated power under the guise of religious beliefs– someone else’s religious beliefs.

We are no longer “land of the free” when someone else’s beliefs and other people decide your life choices.

So, my dog on jumping on the beach is more free than women in MAGA times.

Think:
It’s better to be a dog jumping on a beach at any time than a woman suppressed and subordinated in MAGA times.

Yes, it’s not a very good comparison, but the point is that women are now subject to restrictions that prevent the fulfilling of opportunities for their general welfare and in their pursuit of happiness.

It’s art for action: Vote as if your granddaughter’s choices depend on it, because it does.

PS

The AI summary / excerpt generator replied with “It was not possible to process your request. Mind trying again?” over and over again. So is AI right-wing male?

Update: I just used the same AI on the next blog post, and it worked fine. I came back to this post, and got the same “not possible” message.
