Hats Stacked

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem.

I love hats. I hate shopping. My husband orders hats for me online at hats.com. I love them, and here they are stacked and ready to go out the door.

And the grandkids love to wear our hats. These are pictures of some of my grandkids; the others do not like their pics online.

Granddaughters with my hats at a Renaissance Fair
Same granddaughters a few years later in grandpa’s hats and coats dressed in character as detective for a skit all the grandkids wrote and videoed. We all still laugh when we watch it!
Grandkids, a bit younger, in Great-Grampa’s hats working as reporters for Grampa

Yes, hats can be such fun! So glad we were young when the grandkids were little. They are all adults now and on their own. But such hat memories.

So a stacked hat poem of my current hats, minus the memories–

Poetry

Hats Stacked

Hats stacked
ready to go
a hat for fun
two hats for the sun
a hat for dress
a hat for the beach
a hat for the boat
and look below
hats stacked
ready to go—
books stacked
stories to go;
What?
Wait for me
I need my hat
I need a book
Here I come
Where will we go?
