Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today was a hard day. The puppy, Guthrie, chewed on Scott’s inhaler and we needed to take him to the only overnight veterinarian in the area, in Spokane two hours away. He’s being watched 24/7, has an elevated heart rate, but is doing OK. We hope it stays that way. He did not puncture the container, so that’s a good thing. Puppies, they just chew anything.
So here we are in Spokane at The Davenport Grand where we often stay for events, just not usually for this kind of event. I’ve written about the decor here before [Grand].
Since it’s been a weird day, we found ourselves taking a weird picture of another topic: other worlds in other dimensions. I snapped a picture of the strange, modern deco credenza. When I got back to the room, I realized it would make a great dimension photo with me behind the circles. So I wrote the directions to Exit to Another Dimension and Scott took the photo.

Put your right foot below the second lowest circle from the left
Turn around and find yourself looking through the circles:
You’ve passed through the portal, into the twilight zone.
