What did I learn?

I need to plan the colors out before hand. I just dove right in, but with the size canvas I used, I needed to plan for less layers. I needed to not use clipping masks, but organize colors top down so I could add the colors needed on top of other colors.

I love gouache though: it’s smooth and easy to create brush strokes that are not too transparent.

This will be a greeting card — the first recipient is my granddaughter who loves coffee beverages from Starbucks.
