A Poem and A Note With Some Cheerful Art
Today we ate at a relatively new authentic Mexican restaurant in our town, one of only three restaurants open for dinner. The music was cheery and the art on the decorative seating so colorful with art of brightly colored fruit, birds, and florals. The food was great and we enjoyed our visit. We’ll be back.
America is so wonderful for all of our diversity. Here in rural eastern Washington, a taste of Mexico in art and cuisine is an experience we wouldn’t have without such cultural diversity.
I am so happy to live in a state that appreciates other cultures; if we can only keep it so.
