A Little Note

Mother’s Day delight: a gift for a goddess: crystals of gypsum: satin spur
The Thought:
My husband brought home a gift for Mother’s Day: rocks. He says I rock. We are a rock collecting family. I think every one of our extended family has some kind of rock displayed or used somewhere in the house.
This rock is a form of gypsum: Satin Spur, a silky, fibrous mineral; translucent; very common.
When the grandkids were little, we had our rock back: a bag with hammers, towels, rock books, vinegar, notebook. All the things required for collecting, analyzing, and documenting rocks. It still sits in a corner by the front door, just in case.

Information about Gypsum:
A fun fact: gypsum includes two molecules of water!

Wishful Sites, fun to read:
Apparently the rock is for goddesses [see below] and helps memory and focus. So, it’s perfect for this goddess [me]. LOL
