Inspiration
The inspiration is the flower Yellow Salsify, a flower that greets the morning and closes in the afternoon. I wrote about here: Morning Yellow.
The Art
I decided to do a quick contour drawing and fill in with the colors of the flowers, adding the sky and clouds in the background with my quote: Greet the morning like flowers: open and bright.
Brushes used were an adapted Mercury in the Procreate Inking category, the Cloud brush. The palette is from my sunflower illustrations, using yellows and greens.
