Inspiration
Lisa Bardot of bardotbrush.com shared a “Reveal Sesh” on YouTube to introduce her June #makingarteveryday prompts and theme: Escape and Unwind. After the reveal, she demonstrated a live draw of a vintage scooter, and I followed along with my own choice of scooter. If you choose a prompt from the list, just click the item which links to a Google search of images for that prompt.
Making Art Everyday means to find time to draw, just an everyday something to enjoy the flow of the pen or brush to start with nothing and end up with a motif, maybe not perfect, but definitely a representation of that idea. It’s a satisfying feeling. Lisa provides prompts for each day, but choose the ones that fit your mood.
Take a look at my scooter: it is not perfect, but you get the idea. I used Lisa’s Basic Toolkit set and finished the illustration by the end of the session. So, not something perfect, but something for fun and still usable for certain types of art.
