Dahlia Two Roads

A Little Note

The Photo:

One of 49 species of Dahlia

The Thought:

Fibonacci Sequence: each number is the sum of the two preceding ones
0,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55…

In nature, find it in the arrangement of pine cones or the spirals of petals of dahlias.

Perhaps there’s math in the paths we chose in life. [The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost]

Poetry

Two roads

Two roads diverged, a poet once wrote,
Two from whence one began
A choice to ponder
To pursue his wander
And that day a difference was made;
Each day in life choices emerge
The path ahead unknown—
Will you follow others’ trodden path
Kept for friend and kin?
Or forge a lane to pave the way
That may help to free us all?
