Your Vote is Your Voice

I created this design as part of the Daily Create for my friend Karen; I wrote about that here: Vote Voice Design. It’s more important now that Project 2025 will destroy our democracy due to it’s severe actions, especially eliminating experts in each department and instead hiring sycophants of that former president.

The Danger

American Civil Liberties Union has an “explainer” for you about what Project 2025 plans to do. You might want to read it today: ACLU Project 2025 Explainer. And Americans United for Separation of Church and State explains the danger of Christian Nationalism, the proponents of whom wrote Project 2025

We’re not going back” to the time when women couldn’t make independent choices and did not have control over their own bodies or when discrimination overruled opportunities or when the church made decisions based on theocracy..

And it’s the things that help that will be destroyed: child care, overtime pay, Social Security, health care [pre-existing conditions], science-based knowledge. Can you imagine “dismantling” NOAA — National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration — where we get our climate information? These people are climate change deniers. Go look it up — read between the lines of their propaganda leading your thinking away from what they really mean and plan to do.

Project 2025 is a roadmap for what the former guy couldn’t get done before– but he wanted to, which is why I created the design.

PLEASE VOTE!

And I hope you vote blue. No matter what– you still have that right, but you will not if Project 2025 and that former guy win. We all lose if he’s elected.

Me– I see the joy in Harris/Walz — that my neighbors and I, whether our views are left or right — can work together to solve the issues of today. Working together, respecting each other, moving forward without taking away the rights of others to live their lives as they see fit.

I really laughed when Walz said, “It’s none of your damn business!” It’s just so true. I’m from North Dakota, and we didn’t worry about how our neighbor down the street lived or worshipped; it wasn’t any of our business; we worried if they needed help if disaster struck. We helped one another, no matter what. That’s the America I believe in. I hope you vote to keep it that way and bring back the respect for each other that has been denigrated by that former guy and his minions. We’re better than that, and we’re not going back. I’m voting for an America that works together.
