Inspiration
This week flew past like autumn leaves on a windy day. Book Club is next week, so I rushed through Agatha Christie’s The Man in the Brown Suit. It’s a good read for a hundred year old book. That’s the kind of books we’re reading this year. Any way, it’s the week of Halloween, so I wondered what fun art could be created, and so I needed to look no further than Lisa Bardot.
Tutorials
Scroll around on her tutorial page at bardotbrush.com, find cats, pumpkins, jack o’lanterns, skulls, and ghosts. I was looking for something for the great grandkids and found the bat and cute watercolor monsters on her YouTube channel. And in her community, Art Makers Club, was a perfect class on Cute Halloween People, so I was glad to be a member.
My Versions
I didn’t change the bat, but I added my own take on most of the watercolor monsters and added a few more to the crowd. The Halloween people are totally my own versions.
That’s It!
Just a fun with week, with Lisa’s tutorials and brushes. She’s updated quite a few of her sets, and if you’ve purchased the Master Bundle, head back over to your account and get the updated versions as part of your purchase.
Enjoy a safe and happy Halloween!
