Just before a new month begins, Lisa Bardot often provides a Sketch Sesh about the next month’s #makingarteveryday prompts. That’s the first Christmas tree image using some of her Watercolor Wonder brushes. I applied that technique to another lesson, drawing a cozy A Frame house. The second image is from the lesson, and the last two are the ones I adapted to include a Christmas theme.
Check them out and give it a try. Lisa provides sample brushes for both. I have the Watercolor Wonder set for the Christmas trees, and the rest of the illustrations are with the sample pack, which is a collection of great brushes from several sets. This is a great way to see how Lisa’s brushes work– follow the lesson with the sample brushes, then make it your own, like my A Frame.
