A little under the weather today, but finished two pieces.
On the left is a mock recipe for a cranberry mocktail. Sounds good to me. I love the mid century style and it’s fun to create illustrations in this simple style. Notice the quirky shapes and lines; limited palette. The prompt is from Jutta Schneider.
On the right is a prompt for next month with Lisa Bardot’s Making Art Every Day. Today she drew with us the prompt “jello” and I chose to do a different jello. It’s not quite what I imagined but it’s OK. I tried to get the translucence of jellow, some shadows and highlights. I think I accomplished that, especially on the plate.
