MidCentury Orange and Apple

Daily Draw

I enjoy starting my new year drawing from Lisa Bardot’s Making Art Every Day prompts.. Since I’m in my third week of being sick with Covid, I’m choosing the MidCentury style to complete my drawings. It’s wonky and imperfect, so much different than watercolor or Gouache. I’ve included wonky shapes, limited palette, half-tones, simplified motifs, obvious shading/highlights. I chose brushes by Jutta Schneider and Lisa Bardot. I hope you like them.
