Banks Lake looks quiet, but creatures are hidden in the bulrush and tules, but heard as we pass by.

About the plants on the lake’s edge:

• cattail / bulrush
• tule / reed / bulrush
• tule mat lodge

Animals:

Muskrats
Canada geese, mallards, loons, grebes
red-winged blackbirds, marsh wrens
frogs, salamanders, fish
