Our Dog Sketch

I have a bit of trouble drawing dogs. You know cat shapes are basically the same, then fill in the coloring. But dogs– there are so many “looks,” both in shape and expression. But in my 20 dogs for #the100dayproject, this is day 3 [63], and I like it.

I’m on Day 63 of The 100 Day Project from Lindsay Jean Thomson, who has a website, IG, and podcast. The hashtag is #the100dayproject.

The goal is to make a plan for drawing every day for 100 days– five to ten minutes. I’ve completed:

• 20 rabbits
• 20 Bears 
• 20 birds

and now starting 20 dogs.

Please remember: My art learning only started in 2016– so I’m still learning what has never come natural to me. I love it– the learning!
