Haircut and another nap

I’m on Day 66 of The 100 Day Project from Lindsay Jean Thomson, who has a website, IG, and podcast. The hashtag is #the100dayproject.

The goal is to make a plan for drawing every day for 100 days– five to ten minutes. I’ve completed:

• 20 rabbits
• 20 Bears 
• 20 birds 

and now Day 6 of 20 dogs. I’m following the trick of artists learning from masters– I’m tracing over the photos I’ve taken of our dog. I have such a difficult time with drawing dogs. So I’m at least learning the shape, especially my golden-doodle’s shape through this process. But dogs have so many different shapes, builds, colors, ears, tails! They are amazingly unique.

Please remember: My art learning only started in 2016– so I’m still learning what has never come natural to me. I love it– the learning!
