Peachy Peach, watercolor

Tomorrow the prompt is PEACH and we paint a peach the peachy colors. I chose to use the Procreate Watercolor Wonder Brush Set by Lisa Bardot with the palette shown in the image below. The brushes I used are underlined in orange– the other brushes are for creating a rainbow outline as in this lesson from Lisa: Paint a Watercolor Orange. I also dabbed color with the native brush Hartz.
To get the fuzzy peachy look, I added noise to the peach. To create the jagged leaves of the peach tree, I crystalized the leaves.
I found a peach image and create a palette from the image, then created another blank palette to add the colors I actually used. You can see the range of peachy colors I used, and the range of green leaf colors.
The watercolor brush set comes with a watercolor paper. What I love about Lisa’s brushes is that they come with a detailed guide and she also provides a tutorial: Here’s what the Watercolor Wonder page shares:
Watercolor Wonder comes complete with 50 brushes in total, plus 5 textured watercolor canvases that will have you crafting watercolor works of art with ease. You’ll also get instant access to an 80 page in-depth user guide where I’ve outlined all my tried and true personal tips and tricks for how to get the most out of these brushes. This user guide is jam packed with tons of time-saving hacks, plus a hand full of fun and easy to follow step-by-step tutorials that will have you creating like a pro right away!
