Two Hue Drawing

Today’s lesson was how to select colors for two-hue illustration — keeping the palette and the effect simple. Here’s the palette I chose for each of the color variations. By putting the colors on separate layers we can easily update to a totally new feel for the drawing with new colors.
You can see I chose a medium hue, then a lighter and a darker version of each one, balancing the colors in the drawing, keeping one color set as the main one.
