Two Hue Color Drawings
Yesterday’s lesson focused on selecting a balanced two-hue illustration palette. See the info at Two-Hue Drawing Cozy Chairs. This was crazy fun to illustrate. Be sure to keep your colors on separate layers!
More Trailing Petunias
I decided the first pattern– at the top of this post needed some blenders. First, I created the wavy lines from the background of the original trailing petunias. Then, because the pattern was so busy, I created a less populated floral version on white, and then added a soft pink swirly pattern behind it for a third variation. I haven’t written about this yet because I’m still considering what’s next for the collection! But these I finished yesterday and today.
