September 5 Prompt Sky Blue

I couldn’t resist the blue skies that shine across the sky in the autumn over our maples, sycamore, and cottonwoods. This, a maple leaf against the blue, a favorite view.

I used only two brushes, the skying being one color with the slight texture of the goo brush creating it’s own mirage often seen in the sky. I let the brush do the work. The leaf is layered and smudged colors with veins on a clipping mask.
