Folksy Birds Cards for Day 5

5 Cards in 5 Days

I’m taking, again, Delores Naskrent’s 5 Cards in 5 Days. It’s a fast paced, content filled course that starts with sketches and ends with learning to upload to a greeting card site for sale. This will be my third time– this one includes both Procreate and Affinity Designer sections.

Day 5

On Day 5 we learned about where to post our cards for sale, such as Card Isle and Zazzle. Some use Etsy. I continued to make cards by taking a class from Delores called Folksy Birds [Procreate]. It was a relaxing class, and she taught us how to make our own texture brushes– you can see mine in the background just behind and to the right of the main bird in the left illustration. I loved the colors and the birds so I decided to make another card for Day 5 from this illustration, which is 10 by 10 inches. I shrunk the bird a bid and duplicated it, changing the details a but for her own personality.
