Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Almost every morning, Scott makes breakfast. Almost always it is served with a smile– from him and through the meal, as in this smiling with surprise cottage cheese. It’s a delightful way to start the day. I thank him. We thank the earth. We acknowledge our new day and that we’re glad we are still here. Hugs. Gratitude with loving attitude: a way of life.

Thanks we smile for the food we eat
Thanks we smile for it served so sweet
Thanks we smile that we’re still here
Hugs we share for this day’s cheer.
