Rainbow Chasers

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Since the Daily Create is about rainbows, I found this picture of our return from a grandson graduation celebration [outdoors] — driving through a rainy, stormy Sunday journey. But then, near Dry Falls, the sky opened and the setting sun shone through the water droplets so we could chase this rainbow as it blessed the rest of the journey home. Beautiful rain for the crops and lovely rainbow for the future. A little gift of nature. And hope for our grandson, already now in September off to college, as is his brother.

Let’s guide the way for our grandchildren by saving democracy. Learn how here:

Rainbow Chasers

All the way home it rained
Dark skies drenched the plains
Welcome moisture for June crops
And sun shines through the water drops
When the storm breaks as we near Dry Falls
Where a rainbow glows: Calm to all.
