Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Every day, in my “office / art studio,” I imagine, I read, I write, I draw, I wonder about the world and how to both scatter seeds of kindness and understand the chaos that is today. I am not understanding the hate in the hearts of so many– to control instead of to “Live and let live.”
As poet George Eliot reminds us, “What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult to each other?“
And so I muse on– on the little wonders around me, to share and keep alive the little things that bring us joy and perhaps can bring us together.
Daily I Muse On
Daily, I muse on
Sheri Edwards
wonders the world
brings on –
reading, writing,
and drawing on
little things
eyes glance on –
bits of joy
to look upon –
remake and remix
to honor on
those wonders so
they pass on
a slice of life
that lives on-
a gift so others
may muse on.
