Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. I know it is Halloween, but my Daily Create will cover that. But much of Halloween deals with lost souls and perhaps the lost calm of our world today.

My NaNoWriMo [National Novel Writing Month] for the last three years deals with this chaos and hate in a way that fights for and follows the light of love. There are fairies and heroes and tragic figures who, hopefully, find the light, just as I hope the tragic characters of our world, the GOP, will find their way back to light the world and love thy neighbor.

Anyway, this is Olivia’s song– at the moment she senses in herself a transformation and a new path towards light.

Mend the Moment

Follow the sun and the shadows
Blues and purples and more
The yellows and reds of the meadows
Colors the world will adore
Colors that mend the moment
For hearts and minds askance
Transforming the days’ torments
With the fairies’ light and dance.
