Thank You Veterans

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. I called my Uncle Dee who is a World War II Veteran at age 96. He’s still honored for his service on a destroyer tender in the Pacific, the USS Blackhawk. North Dakota keeps a record of all veterans on the State Historical Society of North Dakota website.

The entry way to his home displays many of his remembrances.

He’s an amazing man who served all of us Americans to preserve our liberty. Thank you, Uncle Dee.

Thank You Veterans

Every where the flags fly high
Honoring those who braved the call
To fight for us, liberty for all.
