Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. I don’t drive at night. This evening, as the world grows dark, I needed to pick up our delicious pre-made Thanksgiving meal from PKs Culinary. It’s a treat to have all the veggies, turkey, trimmings, and dessert already cooked with care and ready to warm up and enjoy the day free of the fuss and muss, although that is fun to do together, as Scott and I know. Still– we like to support our local businesses and we like to enjoy our holiday as a vacation. But there it is– you see it in the picture. Snow! Our first snow in our little coulee– and for sure up the hill where I pick up dinner for Thursday, without snow tires. It was a slippery adventure, but…. I made it home, and we enjoyed deviled eggs for dinner.

And so, a poem– which, although I thought I’d called the image P22TodaySnow — I transposed letters so the file name is P22toadysnow! LOL.

Today

Today in the eve
with meetings— that’s rare, and so,
today—Look! it snowed!
