Daily Create Prompt: #clmooc #DS106  #tdc3991 #dailycreate  Still Life in Red

Have I mentioned how great Flickr and Google Photos are for searching for just the photo or illustration for a project. Just type in the search term– in this case, “Red,” and wowser! lots of choices! In my Google Photos I found this lovely photo of the neighbor’s Japanese maple in her garden along the sidewalk from October, 2016, just as the cold of winter begins to settle in. See on Mastodon @Sheri42

A perfect still life in red, don’t you think?

Poetry

And so a poem….

Daily Note: Every day, a photograph, a poem. Like the lacy maple leaves falling gently with the cold of October, awaiting what comes, we allow the grace of the universe to settle us, to brace for the will of winter and dream of the light of spring. This is the picture for me, a place of calm and a memory for days when hope is needed.

Nature’s Lace

Nature’s lace as grace
placed by gentle, wintry winds,
await the morrow.
