Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. What a lovely winter view of from on top of the coulee walls of the Grand Coulee looking across the resting wheat fields north to Moses Mountain.

Usually, we are in the coulee at Banks Lake:

We are here, a good 40 miles from majestic Moses Mountain, as the crow flies, says Google Maps:

Winter’s Rest

Resting fields in winter lay
covered in snow and shining rays
of sunshine warming hopeful hearts
Daydreaming of those miles apart
Far away, our minds find rest
On Moses Mountain’s snowy crest.
