Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. On our drive home on US Highway 2 on the Waterville Plateau after the basketball tournament and a serendipity family reunion, the sky dazzled us with these lenticular clouds. Amazing, aren’t they?

This was a quick shot while driving, but the clouds are just hanging there and huge, so you can see their strange spaceship shape!

And so, a poem:

Dreamer’s Eyes

Spaceships in the sky
Smoothed by wind flowing by
Winter’s clouds its cold belies
No summer puffs for the dreamer’s eyes.
