Forecast Dark

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. The forecast was dreary— rain and snow and clouds. And in the morning the darkness stayed as a thick blanket of wet clouds. It was quite depressing, but soon we noticed light, and looking out the window, we found that the sun had won, beaming its way through the clouds just enough to lighten the day, though rain and a bit snow did fall.

Forecast: Dark

Dark with rain and snow
Heavy clouds hung darkly
Dampening spirits looking for spring.

Light with bold shining
Broken clouds burst brightly
Renewing spirits smiling at sun.
