Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. It’s always delightful to find these helpful guests flying and crawling around: damselfly and ladybug. Damselflies eat mosquitoes and other harmful garden pests! Ladybugs [Lady Beetles] eat aphids, scales, and mites— all harmful bugs in gardens and orchards. The little ladybug has a voracious appetite and can help eliminate any infestation, large or small.

So, be nice to these insects!

And so a poem of one encounter:

Poetry

Spring Guests

Blue as a summer
sky, damselfly hovers with
ladybug crawling.
