Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Our kitty usually stays around our house, even when we walk away on our daily walk. When we return, she scurries out to greet us, tail straight up, rubbing against our legs and actually letting us pet her. She normally does not let anyone pet her, but our return seems to make her happy. And, as I pet her, I smiled at out lovely daffodils that also greet us in the spring— such lovely flowers. So I snapped a picture, and luckily it worked, because our kitty decided to scamper over and rub against my hand as I clicked my iPhone to take the picture. Joy all around— the little moments of our day.
And so a poem…

Greetings of the Garden
Greeted by an orchestra of daffodils
Sheri Edwards
Dressed in pale cream robes
adorning golden horns announcing
“They’re home,”
we smile.
