Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Another memory— just outside the front door, this lovely swallowtail butterfly caught my attention, and I paused to notice and enjoy it. Perhaps these small lovely creatures and flowers bring such a reminder to us: slow down and enjoy the world around you.
Swallowtail Butterfly
Poetry
Pause A While
Walking out the door

In a hurry for a chore
A bit of yellow darts past
A bit of beauty in the grass
Breathe in and smile
Breathe out—pause a while;
Nature’s wonders do remind:
Slow down—unwind.

Thank you — a good reminder, and one that we (I) seem to need quite a bit.

We both live in amazing places to find a bit of peace in this strange world. Take care.
