Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Only the lavender has been planted; the wood sorrel, mint, and vivid magenta rose campion sprout on their own. Someone must have planted daffodils years before we moved here in 1988. The paving stone of dragonflies comes from a local arts and crafts fair, probably on Mother’s Day or the Fourth of July when the area has festivals.
Though wild, I love this part of my garden. And so a remembering poem…
Poetry
Wild Garden
Rose campion blooming in vivid magenta
Sheri Edwards
Mint sprouting everywhere
Wood sorrel hiding beneath
Planted lavender stretching tall
Daffodil leaves fading away
In my wild garden.
