Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. This weekend I had the joy of holding in my arms two great-granddaughters, two and three-months old! Precious are these little ones, now fourth generation of our families. Many of our whole family were able to join in, sitting in the shade of Autumn and Rob’s lovely old tree, relaxing in conversation and switching armfuls of babies as four-year old Elijah celebrated his fourth birthday.
I was fortunate to be an early grandmother— in my forties— so I could run and play with the grandkids who are now raising families of their own. Wow. What memories to hold on to; what joy to live with. I am so thankful for the goodness of each of them.
