Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Some days are a bit dreary. The clouds. The end of summer. Tired. News. But a walk outside keeps your heart strong and lifts your spirit. Look around and notice things, like this lone potentilla blossom with the autumn purple hue of the tiny leaves. A gift of joy to acknowledge and move forward with a renewed feeling of hope.
On my walk today I found so many “one little things,” but looking at this close up, I found even the leaves– turning slightly reddish purple I hadn’t even noticed when I snapped the picture. That’s the thing. Taking the time to be present, to be cognizant of our senses, and notice the subtle beauty of our world keeps us grounded to what’s important for our hearts and minds. Breathe. Enjoy.
